Waimate Toy Library is a local, non-profit, community service for the Waimate area, we operate like a public library. Run by a small Committee that meet approximately 4 times per year. The Toy Library was established to provide a wide range of good quality toys/educational equipment for children of any age (some recommended for ages 10+), to borrow at a minimal cost. This allows you to match toys with your child's development. We hope you and your family enjoy the experience. New members are always welcome.

Committee
All members are welcome to attend committee meetings. We would appreciate your ideas. To find out when the next committee meeting is taking place, please contact the Toy Library Librarian or any member of the committee.
Fundraising
The Toy Library uses the membership fees / fines, grants and fundraising to cover its operating costs. Grant providers view organisations more favourably if they demonstrate active fundraising.
You may be asked to contribute to raffles, sell raffle tickets, and join in fundraising events such as toy sales, movie nights. We are always interested in new fundraising initiatives.
Suggestions/Complaints
Your comments are always welcome either in person or in writing. ALL comments will be discussed at committee meetings. Your feedback is important to us.
